Firstly, we look at the ways these socio-economic gaps are brought about, and their impacts upon the lives of these people. For example, Person A is at the worse end of the socio-economic gap. This gap is brought about by her being unemployed, and one impact is that she has trouble getting food.
After that, we look at how discrimination leads to these gaps. Does Person A have trouble finding a job because of her ethnicity? How do employers treat her differently because of that?
Lastly, the links between socio-economic gaps and federal or state policies will be examined. What are some policies that lead to Person A finding it harder to get a job? What are some policies that can help her to cope with her struggle of getting food?
